Let’s face it, this isn’t the pinnacle of my portfolio. Not the most creative piece I’ve done. But I still like having it here.

First, it’s my first tagline in German. (Netz ist alles translates as “the internet is everything”) I know it’s not the most sophisticated line, but after years of struggling with the language, writing one for Deutsche Telekom still makes me smile.

Second, yes, it’s simple. Maybe even a bit cheesy. But the idea still holds: the internet is no longer just the web we connect to. It has become everything in our lives. The backbone of our families, work, relationships, and experiences. And the film reflects that in a very honest way. Beautifully shot, grounded, and still feeling fresh.

And lastly, I see this as a small ode to the reality behind the work. When working with giant brands like Telekom, you often throw away hundreds of good scripts and end up with a vignette film. The challenge is holding on to your core idea through all of that.

Sometimes, it really is about the journey.
