My advertising career apparently sprang from a brief conversation with my mum.

I was around 10 years old. She was driving, I was sitting in the backseat.
She asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said I wanted to “write ads.”

I have no idea why I said that. I had never thought about it before. I probably didn’t even know it was an actual job. But I do remember enjoying commercials between cartoons.
Sometimes even more than the cartoons themselves.

After accidentally setting a career goal early in life, I somehow stuck with it.
I studied advertising and started my career at TBWA\Istanbul, where I spent
five wild years.

From there, I moved to Berlin and, after almost a decade of fun, pain, success,
boredom, joy, and awards… found myself at TBWA again. This time at adam&eveTBWA.
(Shoutout to the Omnicom gods!)

Apart from saving the world through advertising, I relentlessly try to make my photography slightly less boring and still dream of making an arthouse indie film
that will bring me posthumous fame.
